Shhhh…

I haven't talked about them lately but, the Mets swept the Braves for the first time since 1995.

Yeah, I know they’re way, way out of it but, they’ve been a lot more fun to watch these last few weeks since they bought the kids up. Actually, the worst part of watching the Mets the last few weeks was seeing Jose Reyes come up after getting his spike caught sliding into second the other day. He’s really been a joy to watch this season, a real bright spot (him and Jason Phillips).

Anyway, I have to admit, I’m liking the team and I’m liking their chances for next year. Now, if only they can sign Andy Petite and Gary Sheffield in the off-season.
